Saturday, July 16th, 2005 03:45 pmI blink in polite bewilderment at people who say 'Spoil me for HBP! If a book is good enough it doesn't matter if you know what happens in it'-- and, in the metafandom example, give the example of A Tale of Two Cities. People will read that even knowing what happens in it. 'It was no surprise to the readers of the Aeneid when Troy fell.'
