Saturday, July 27th, 2024 03:19 pmI hope it's a result of our very wet summer (broke the 2008 record! which, trust me, takes some doing) and not age or blight, but my cherry tree's leaves have been turning yellow and falling in droves. Good Neighbour's tree is not as bad but has touches of yellow as well. Upshot is I had to go buy a fan rake yesterday and will eventually start raking NND's lawn but it's damned muggy out there and I'm feeling couch potato-y.
Also toilet is leaking again until I take the lid off and adjust the flap, and sometimes that stops it and sometimes it doesn't and I just don't want to spend another $450 to get it fixed. But if putting in a new flushing mechanism is what it takes, I should be grateful that it's not paying for an entirely new toilet, since that's the other option.
Have begun putting the records stashed in the bunker out on the boulevard. Hope somebody takes them. I suppose I could buy one of those players that turns records into mp3 files or whatever, but then what would I play the files on?
The latest exercise my physio has me do is bridges with resistance bands, and many of them. And I think *maybe* it's making a difference?
