Maple syrup /needs/ to be small amounts, always, but I'm chuffed to find cinnamon is apparently one of those antitoxic wonderfoods, like dark chocolate. Mmhhh. And turmuric. Not so mhhh.

The split balloon thing is clunky. It messes the delivery for English speakers, and tells those who know Japanese exactly what it was you were translating- which I'll maintain is bad translation.
