Yes, I think that's it basically. I used to go to Japan for inspiration and sometimes I'd get it and sometimes I wouldn't. Things look diffrent in Away than they do Here; the everyday usualness and routine and set ways and set attitudes of Here increasingly work against any ideas I might have. So I need to go elsewhere to get them. Shall have more to say about this as I consider the enigmatic General of Youmi Henjou; took me five years and a rereading in NY (OK, Newark) for it to occur to me that yanno just maybe the secret to parsing Dragon Gem is the Kanzeon Bosatsu one, only either/or depending on location rather than both/and always. I know, I'm being obscure since no one but M and I have read the thing. Shall be make more sense later.

BTW should mention here that Flora's Dare is remarkably good. Unless that's train lag and curtailed sleep talking. Oh, and must blather more about O'Brian and Novik and fairies and Clarke. And other 5 am inspirations.
