July is a nothing month and nothing much happened in it. I did reread the whole of the Witches arc, bar the first and last. The first day of August continued the do-nothing streak,  bar a massage and finishing Hogfather. Lower back still hurts. Am seeing a physio on Saturday, the one NND says cured his lower back pain, so I may hope for some improvement.

God bless Pratchett, there have been a bunch of times when I've been able to just reread him and nobody else. (Altho post-covid I did manage to get through all of Miss Marple.) July seems to have been a bit of a damp squib all around.

I went through a massive Christie reread back in the broiling summer of 2018. One can read her with no brain at all. And you can read Pratchett similarly, but so much is happening in Pratchett that not all of it sticks, so that you can reread him many times and it still feels new. Whereas Christie, and my other comfort read Dick Francis, are 'oh right this is the one where...'
