There are some definite questions in terms of method with that study, unless the article mischaracterizes it -- but that would probably take a bit more time. Maybe later.
In the Robert Heinlein book "I Will Fear No Evil," at one point some study is mentioned that found that homosexual males were very important in the furthering of evolution, whereas homosexual females were not. That always kind of made me scratch my head, but then I know enough to take just about everything the characters in an SF novel say with a grain of salt.
